Method and limits

  • Sample: 680 job listings published on jobinkenya.co.ke and open on 25 October 2026. Listings are gathered from public job boards and official employer and government adverts, then checked and categorised.
  • This is not a measure of all hiring in Kenya. It reflects the adverts JobInKenya collects, which lean towards online, formal-sector roles in Nairobi.
  • Categories and locations are as assigned on the site; 59 listings do not state a town. Industry is stated on 333 adverts only.
  • Salary trends are left out because few adverts state pay. A future edition will add them once enough adverts do.
