Human resources work in Kenya has moved well beyond filing contracts and processing leave. Employers on this page range from flower farms in Naivasha and manufacturers on Mombasa Road to banks, hospitals, universities and international NGOs, and they hire HR assistants, generalists, recruiters, talent acquisition specialists, payroll officers and People & Culture business partners. Most mid-level roles ask for a degree in HR or a related field plus the Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or progress towards CHRP, and many state that IHRM membership is required.
