Underwriting Assistant (Insurance)
About the Role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to support the insurance underwriting process. This role is essential in evaluating risks, managing data, and ensuring accuracy in documentation to support effective underwriting decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data from insurance applicants
- Assist in risk assessments and underwriting decisions
- Prepare and review documentation to ensure accuracy
- Maintain organized records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- English proficiency: B2 (80%), with strong written and verbal communication skills
- 1–2 years of experience in underwritting
- Technical or academic background in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Administration
- Mathematics or related fields
