Our client, a well-established restaurant chain operating across Nairobi, is seeking to recruit a Stock Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring proper stock management, cost control, and accountability across all restaurant branches. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in inventory or stock management within a busy restaurant, hotel, or retail environment.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across multiple outlets.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
  • Record daily stock movements (receipts, transfers, issues, and returns).
  • Verify the quality and quantity of supplies received.
  • Support purchasing processes by preparing stock reports and reorder requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company stock management procedures.
  • Work closely with kitchen and service teams to minimize wastage and optimize stock usage.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a stock control or inventory role (preferably in hospitality).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and high integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
