Our client, a well-established restaurant chain operating across Nairobi, is seeking to recruit a Stock Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring proper stock management, cost control, and accountability across all restaurant branches. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in inventory or stock management within a busy restaurant, hotel, or retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across multiple outlets.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Record daily stock movements (receipts, transfers, issues, and returns).
- Verify the quality and quantity of supplies received.
- Support purchasing processes by preparing stock reports and reorder requests.
- Ensure compliance with company stock management procedures.
- Work closely with kitchen and service teams to minimize wastage and optimize stock usage.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a stock control or inventory role (preferably in hospitality).
- Proficiency in MS Excel or inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and high integrity.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
