We are seeking driven, ambitious, and highly motivated Solar Sales Executives with a passion for clean energy and proven sales ability. The role focuses on generating new business, converting high-value solar leads, and guiding customers through the transition to solar energy solutions.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, relationship builder, negotiator, and deal closer with experience in technical or solution-based sales.

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Identify and prospect new clients through field visits, networking, referrals, telesales, and digital lead conversion.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently hit sales targets.
  • Explore new market segments including homes, SMEs, schools, hospitals, farms, factories, and real estate developments.

Customer Needs Assessment

  • Conduct site visits and analyze customer energy consumption to determine power needs.
  • Educate clients on solar ROI, energy cost savings, financing models, and solar product value.

Solution Presentation & Sales Conversion

  • Present customized solar proposals including system design, bill of materials, financial savings, and payback timelines.
  • Clearly articulate product offerings including solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage, and related accessories.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales in line with company standards.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, proposals, and closed deals in the CRM.
  • Submit weekly sales activity and performance reports.

Customer Relationship & Brand Representation

  • Build long-term customer trust and generate referrals.
  • Represent Solarglow professionally at exhibitions, activations, and industry events.
  • Provide seamless handover to the technical and project delivery team post-sale.

Experience

  • 2+ years in sales (solar, ICT, insurance, real estate, automotive, or other solution-based sales is a strong advantage).
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed targets in a competitive environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical products in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with high energy and strong planning discipline.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and proposal tools

Added Advantage

  • Basic understanding of solar system components (inverters, PV, batteries, energy storage systems).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct field sales across assigned territories.
