You will help shape how Langdale shows up online. From vertical videos that make people smile to thoughtful blogs that inform families, your work will carry our voice and values. You will join a supportive team, partner closely with activities and wellbeing leads, and see your ideas come to life across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.

  • Plan and run social calendars across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Film, edit and publish day in the life moments, resident activities, staff spotlights and events
  • Write short social copy, blog posts, newsletters and occasional features for care sector outlets
  • Design on-brand assets and carousels in Figma and Canva, and maintain simple design systems for repeatable content
  • Grow audience and engagement through community management, trends, challenges and collaborations
  • Track performance with platform analytics and simple dashboards, then optimise what works
  • Support activities coordinators with posters, schedules and event promotion
  • Help with award entries, charity spotlights and recognition pieces for residents and staff
  • Keep online profiles in great shape across Google Business, Indeed and other directories

Graphic design and video editing with a strong creative eye and careful attention to detail

  • Shooting basics for phone and mirrorless cameras, framing, focus, exposure and white balance
  • Media management, file naming, folders, proxies and backups
  • Edit timelines, trims, J and L cuts, slip and ripple edits, speed ramps and retiming
  • Multicam sync, nested sequences and compound clips
  • Captions and subtitles including SRT exports and platform native captions
  • Sound design, dialogue clean-up, EQ, compression, noise reduction and loudness targets for each platform
  • Music selection with licensing awareness and beat-matched cuts
  • Colour correction and colour grading, scopes, LUTs and matching shots
  • Motion graphics and titles, lower thirds, animated stickers and supers
  • Keying, masking, rotoscoping and simple VFX when useful
  • Text on screen for accessibility and silent autoplay
  • Aspect ratios and safe areas for vertical, square and widescreen
  • Codecs, bitrates and exports for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and YouTube
  • Thumbnail creation and A/B variants
  • Basic live capture skills and stream setups when needed
  • Figma superpowers
  • Comfortable designing social carousels, posters, thumbnails and simple landing pages
  • Components and styles for colours, type and buttons
  • Auto layout, constraints and responsive variants for quick resizing
  • Prototyping with Smart Animate for simple motion previews before edit
  • Asset export for social and video workflows, including PDF and SVG
  • Libraries, version history and tidy files so the team can reuse and scale
  • Basic FigJam for content planning, scripts, storyboards and shot lists

Tools

  • Video: CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, plus Audition or Resolve Fairlight
  • Design: Figma, Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Scheduling and analytics: Meta tools, YouTube Studio, TikTok tools, Hootsuite, Buffer or Sprout
  • Nice to have: DSLR or mirrorless camera familiarity, gimbal and basic lighting, lav and shotgun mics

Requirements

  • Proven experience creating engaging social content and editing videos
