Job Summary
The role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating credit and savings activities while ensuring that banking operations comply with established rules and regulations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial and operational reports (cash, ATM, PesaLink, standing orders, reconciliations, liquidity, treasury, etc.).
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all financial reporting with SACCO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage daily cash flow, treasury operations, vault/strong room security, and teller cash controls.
- Supervise FOSA staff, review system entries, coordinate training, meetings, and staff schedules.
- Ensure compliance with SACCO laws, SASRA regulations, policies, AML requirements, and support AML functions.
- Oversee member transactions (EFTs, cheques, ATM processes, mobile/internet banking, standing orders, account management).
- Perform and oversee reconciliations (bank, GL, salary control, mobile/ATM/PesaLink/paybill transactions).
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational and regulatory reports.
- Maintain and improve financial systems, SOPs, accounting processes, and internal controls.
- Provide strategic support through financial analysis, insights, and participation in FOSA planning.
- Market SACCO/FOSA products when required.
- Handle correspondence, member assistance, audits, meetings, and other assigned duties.
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Experience, Knowledge and Abilities
- Bachelor of Commerce (Banking or Finance Option).
- CPA (K).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the Banking or SACCO sector.
- Computer literate.
- Good command of English and Kiswahili.
- Training in management or supervisory techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
- High computer proficiency.
- Experience in the Banking or SACCO sector is an added advantage.
