To strengthen our international sales team, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative for the East Africa market with a strong background in the plastics industry.
Your Role:
- Actively develop and expand the market through targeted acquisition of new customers and the independent support and growth of existing customer relationships.
- Present our products and technological innovations, identify customer needs, and develop customized system and plant concepts.
- Manage the entire sales process: prepare technical and commercial quotations, conduct price negotiations in line with margin targets, and support budgeting activities.
- Coordinate projects and interfaces: collaborate closely with internal departments on cross-functional and international projects and inquiries.
- Support in handling customer complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings to build networks and identify market trends.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation: manage CRM data (Salesforce), prepare travel reports, and document sales activities.
Your Profile:
- University degree, preferably in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in sales within the plastics industry, ideally in:
- Injection molding machinery
- Raw materials
- Accessories and peripheral equipment
- Fluent in English language skills (spoken and written)
- Strong negotiation skills, customer orientation, and technical & commercial understanding.
- Independent and structured work style with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and willingness to travel within region.
