About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our retail team in Mombasa. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales, managing customer relationships, and ensuring excellent in-store service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a retail environment and is passionate about achieving results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential leads within the hospitality and convenience segment.
- Drive sales by engaging with walk-in customers and promoting store products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular and new clients.
- Identify sales opportunities, upsell, and cross-sell products to meet customer needs.
- Ensure proper merchandising and product displays to attract buyers.
- Monitor stock levels and liaise with management on replenishment needs.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to management.
- Prepare accurate sales records and reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Must be currently residing in Mombasa.
