Job Summary:

The Sales Officer will be responsible for generating sales leads, supporting the consultative sales process to deliver tailored landscaping solutions that meet clients’ needs. The role requires a proactive individual with strong sales experience, eco-awareness, and excellent customer relationship skills.

Salary

  • Monthly retainer (fixed)
  • Commission on closed sales
  • Additional performance incentives may apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential customers
  • Generate and qualify new leads through market research, networking, prospecting, conduct product presentations, and close deals
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups to maximize conversion and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge to support the consultative sales process by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Develop strong client/stakeholder relationships and deliver exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. – Handle customer complaints effectively, ensuring quick resolution and high client satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management to refine strategies and improve positioning.
  • Track market trends, industry demands, sustainability practices and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Working with internal teams to support sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction. 

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience- 3+ years of proven experience in sales

 Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to resolve client complaints and manage conflict effectively.
  • Hands-on proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Smart, well-groomed and with Impeccable Integrity.
  • Horticultural or a strong understanding of sustainable/eco-friendly business practices (eco-awareness) is advantageous

Key Performance Indicators

  • Generate 50 leads per month.
  • Achieve a 25% conversion rate on leads.
  • Maintain 90%+ customer satisfaction score.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
