This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patient progress, and administering prescribed medications and treatments. Additional responsibilities include assisting with pre-operative and post-operative care, educating patients about procedures, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating closely with the medical team to ensure an exceptional standard of care. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Patient Care, including health assessments, administering treatments, and managing patient recovery.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
- Knowledgeable in pre-operative and post-operative care, particularly regarding bariatric procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients, work collaboratively with a healthcare team, and foster positive patient relationships.
- A degree or diploma in Nursing and a valid practicing license in Kenya.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with preference for candidates with experience in bariatric or surgical care.
- CPR certification and familiarity with infection prevention and control practices.
- Empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive patient situations with professionalism.
