Job Overview
To operate and maintain recycling machines that process waste PP woven sacks and scrap materials into reusable granules or pellets, ensuring efficient production, minimal wastage, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate shredders, extruders, and pelletizers to recycle scrap PP woven sacks.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and consistent output.
- Inspect recycled granules/pellets for quality, separating defective material.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor machine maintenance.
- Identify and report machine fault or technical issues to maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices promptly.
- Maintain production logs, including input materials, machine parameters, and output.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Assist in training new operators when required.
Key Qualification
- Diploma, Certificate or Technical training in plastics processing or mechanical operations.
- Experience: 1–3 years operating recycling machines, extruders, or related machinery in plastic manufacturing is preferred.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of recycling processes for PP materials.
- Ability to monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal output.
- Mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
