Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing Quality Control functions and ensuring adherence to set standards.
- Inspect, test, and sample incoming raw materials and ensure intermediate and finished products meet specifications.
- Reject non-conforming products, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor production operations and equipment, making or requesting necessary process adjustments.
- Maintain supplier performance records and follow up on customer complaints to prevent recurrence.
- Manage laboratory equipment and ensure proper functionality and calibration.
- Prepare and submit product, departmental, and inspection reports, and coordinate internal audits.
- Oversee quality department staff, plan shifts, and ensure ISO systems and procedures are maintained across the organization
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in a science related field i.e. chemistry, science, biochemistry.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a manufacturing setting in a supervisory role
- Experience in working with ISO systems.
