Responsibilities
- Oversee daily milk processing and production operations to ensure efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor and control pasteurization, packaging, and storage processes in compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are operating properly; coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or servicing.
- Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP standards.
- Supervise and train production staff, ensuring proper workflow and adherence to safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and logs for inventory and quality control.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Logistics departments to ensure timely delivery and product consistency.
- Monitor raw milk intake and utilization to minimize wastage and optimize yield.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations as per company and government standards.
- Participate in production planning and scheduling to meet targets and deadlines.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback or coaching to team members.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science and technology.
- 2+ year supervisory experience in the dairy Industry.
- Recommendation letters from dairy companies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
