Core Responsibilities & Functions
- Prepare production area and equipment for each batch (sanitation, pre-checks, thermostats, agitators, mixers).
- Weigh and measure raw materials according to formulation and follow batch recipes precisely.
- Assist with pasteurization, heating/cooling cycles, inoculation, incubation/fermentation monitoring, and temperature control.
- Operate and assist with filling, sealing, and packaging machinery.
- Monitor and record process parameters and complete batch records accurately.
- Maintain GMP and hygiene standards per KEBS / KS EAS 38:2014.
- Support QA with sampling and corrective actions.
- Participate in cleaning, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance.
- Assist with raw material checks and inventory usage records.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to meet production targets.

Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Food Processing, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in dairy or food production preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP principles, and food safety standards.
- Basic numeracy and literacy for accurate record keeping.
- Ability to work rotational shifts and maintain high hygiene standards.
