To oversee the procurement process within an organization to ensure that goods, services and materials are acquired in a cost-effective and timely manner while adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supplier Sourcing: Identify and engage cost-effective local and international suppliers.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong supplier partnerships for quality and reliability.
- Cost Control: Reduce procurement costs and prevent unnecessary spending.
- Contract Management: Develop and monitor supplier and service contracts.
- Demand Planning: Forecast and plan RM & PM needs efficiently.
- Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate supply and delivery risks.
- Inventory Management: Optimize stock levels to balance cost and demand.
- Procurement: Ensure material availability through strategic sourcing.
- Logistics: Coordinate air and sea shipments for timely delivery.
- R&D Support: Collaborate on innovation and cost efficiency.
- Procurement Leadership: Address procurement issues and ensure compliance.
- Brand Coordination: Align sourcing with brand and product plans.
- Stakeholder Reviews: Lead meetings to assess risk and identify improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience same role, preferably manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in managing procurement processes for export is required.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, mainly Excel.
- The ability to work as a part of a team, effective communication skills, detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
