Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs under supervision.
- Participate in drug compounding and reconstitution as guided by licensed staff.
- Help in stocking, labeling, and organizing medications and medical supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock taking, ordering, and checking expiry dates.
- Support pharmacovigilance by reporting any adverse drug reactions or incidents.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and handle all information with professionalism.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, or in-house seminars as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
