- This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastry Chef located in Nairobi County, Kenya.
- The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods and desserts, planning recipes, preparing ingredients, and following established cooking and baking techniques.
- Additional responsibilities include ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences in line with the institution’s standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques
- Expertise in Food Preparation and Cooking
- Strong Culinary Skills, with a focus on pastry and dessert creation
- Attention to detail and creativity in presentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Prior experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Certification or formal training in Culinary Arts or a related field is a plus
