Pekay Brothers Ltd are looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented, and hands-on Operations Manager to steer their daily distribution activities in Thika. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments and enjoys making operations run like a well-tuned engine.

Key Responsibilities
- Distribution & Logistics Management: Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery cycles, real-time tracking, secure handling of stock, and error-free dispatch.
- Inventory & Warehouse Control: Maintain stock accuracy, enforce proper storage standards, conduct cycle counts, prevent losses, and ensure documentation integrity.
- Regulatory & Compliance Management: Uphold Kenya’s alcohol distribution laws, including licensing, KEBS/KRA/County compliance, safe transport standards, and staff training.
- Sales Support & Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with sales teams, validate daily orders, ensure correct picking, support promotions, and monitor delivery performance.
- Staff Management & Performance Oversight: Lead warehouse staff, loaders, and drivers—allocation of tasks, training, discipline, performance tracking, and scheduling.
- Risk, Safety & Loss Prevention: Conduct safety audits, investigate variances, enforce safety protocols, and ensure proper documentation of dispatched and returns.
- Reporting & Data Analytics: Prepare operational reports, analyse trends, report incidents, and provide insights to the General Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 3+ years in operations, logistics, or distribution (FMCG/beverage experience is an advantage)
- Strong leadership and planning abilities
- Knowledge of alcohol distribution regulations is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
