Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the provision of an appropriate learning environment that is safe and secure for all stakeholders in the school;
- Monitor and manage relevant workflows, processes and be responsible for the effective use of staff and resources within the operational teams;
- Develop appropriate and effective ways of communicating with students, staff and other stakeholders on operational issues;
- Manage and develop a team delivering operational services and monitor relevant budgets while delivering desired outcomes in operations;
- Develop innovative and effective ways of providing student-focused services;
- Perform and review facilities and premises risk assessments as necessary;
- Oversee the school’s facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and security;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in school operations;
- Manage day to day activities of designated non instructional staff, addressing all issues affecting the delivery of operations and provide practical solutions for any complaints received;
- Ensure quantitative and qualitative preparation of meals in line with the school’s standards and guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce/ Finance, Education, Economics or any other business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 3 years at senior management level managing operations of large teams at a fast-paced organization.
- Must be a member of a relevant professional body with good standing
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and creative individual with high integrity and good professional standing
