Position Description:
Reporting to the Business and Relationship Development Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will coordinate the various business teams and related operations to increase revenue. S/he will coordinate and supervise the sales and marketing team in expanding our client base, driving revenue growth, and strengthening our market presence in Kenya. This role will require a proactive, creative, and results-oriented individual who can identify opportunities, build relationships, and execute strategies to enhance the company’s business development efforts.
Location: NAIROBI
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine tour packages and services based on market demand and propose new travel experiences and offerings.
- Identify potential clients and develop strategies to acquire new business.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and travel agents. Meet and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, client meetings, and presentations
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts.
- Support budget planning and tracking to ensure marketing and sales efforts remain cost- effective.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to evaluate the performance of tour packages and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Determine pricing strategies for tour packages and services, taking into account costs, profit margins, and market competitiveness.
- Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and financial transactions.
- Analyze sales data to assess effectiveness of marketing efforts; make data-driven decisions.
- Facilitation of various vehicle requirements including vehicle registration, licensing, insurance, fuel cards.
- Implement efficient use of job cards or work forms for use by BUKE group vehicles.
- Work with Managers and internal teams to increase sales.
- Ensure all related payments for services offered are paid in full and promptly as required, and all invoices, purchase orders and receipts are available and submitted promptly.
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly reports whilst adhering to the set timelines.
- Manage the website in liaison with communication and ICT personnel and provide input on digital marketing initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities and analyze market data to inform business development strategies.
Qualifications
- 4-years work experience in a similar role in a tours and travel company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related course essential.
- Tech Savvy with and advanced understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.

- Relationship Management-Ability to maintain client satisfaction and posses great interpersonal skills.
