Minimum qualifications
- At least a diploma in marketing or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- At least five years’ experience as a marketing officer in the service industry with two years being at a managerial level.
- Attention to details and initiative.
- Interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Well conversant with digital marketing strategies.
- Customers focus skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Promoting college programs to boost student enrollment and generate revenue.
- Engaging in public relations efforts to build and uphold a positive corporate image.
- Leading the development, implementation, and promotion of new academic and executive education programs.
- Carrying out market research to provide insights for informed decision-making.
- Developing the department’s budget to guide revenue generation, resource allocation, and expenditure control.
- Promoting college training and executive seminar offerings to increase financial returns.
- Overseeing the execution of the college’s marketing strategy to align with and achieve institutional goals.
- Ensuring departmental discipline during marketing activities to maintain harmony and productivity.
- Leading the creation of new marketing strategies to drive the college’s growth.
- Managing the implementation of the department’s strategic plan to ensure timely achievement of goals.
- Compiling and analyzing weekly marketing performance reports to support decision- making processes.
- Facilitating relationships between the college, churches, and other institutions to advance marketing objectives.
- Ensuring clear and effective communication between the marketing department and stakeholders to foster mutual understanding and enhance the institution’s brand image.
