About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining workplace safety and hygiene standards, and contributing to continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production machines according to established SOPs and safety protocols.
- Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with safety, environmental, and food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular equipment checks, adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
- Accurately document operational activities in line with company procedures.
- Support performance targets related to safety, quality, efficiency, waste reduction, and asset care.
- Supervise production assistants and ensure smooth shift handovers.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and waste.
- Provide input on operational improvements and process optimization.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience operating industrial or packaging machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety and quality standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP preferred).
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to teamwork.
- Willingness to work shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
