Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Provide legal advice to management and departments on various business matters.
- Ensure the organization’s operations comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Handle legal research and prepare reports, memoranda, and opinions on diverse legal issues.
- Manage and coordinate external legal counsel when necessary.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings or liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization’s operations.
- Support dispute resolution, litigation management, and contract enforcement.
- Maintain legal records and documentation in an organized and confidential manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Admission to the bar or relevant legal practicing certificate.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a legal or corporate environment.
- In-depth understanding of corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
