Minimum Requirements:
Academic Qualifications:
- Must have an earned Ph.D. degree in Nursing (Midwifery, Critical Care, Oncology, and Education) or its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized academic institution.
OR
- Have a Master’s degree in Nursing (Midwifery, Critical Care, Oncology, and Education) from a recognized academic institution
- Have at least three (3) years of teaching or research experience at University level after obtaining a Master’s degree
- Have at least two (2) publications in refereed journals or one (1) university level book or two (2) book chapters in relevant areas
- Experience supervising research and Clinical Rotations for undergraduate students
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in the use of LMS and digital instructional tools
Professional Registration:
- Must be registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, mentorship, and teamwork skills
Contribution to University Life:
- Should have evidence of contribution to University life through active participation in Departmental and Faculty activities and good quality teaching, attendance of meetings, student academic advising, and committee membership

- Higher Education Loans Board;
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
- Credit Reference Bureau;
- Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department;
- Letters of recommendation (in sealed envelopes) from at least three persons familiar with the applicant’s professional experience and general character one of whom
- must be the pastor of their local church.
