Academic Qualifications:

  • Must have an earned Ph.D. degree in International Relations or its equivalent from a recognized academic institution.

OR

  • Have a Master’s degree in International Relations from a recognized academic institution
  • Have at least three (3) years of teaching or research experience at University level after obtaining a Master’s degree
  • Have at least two (2) publications in refereed journals or one (1) university level book or two (2) book chapters in relevant areas
  • Experience in supervising research and industrial attachment for undergraduate students

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in the use of LMS and digital instructional tools

Professional Membership:

  • Membership in professional bodies is desirable

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, mentorship, and teamwork skills

Contribution to University Life:

  • Should have evidence of contribution to university life through active participation in Departmental and Faculty activities and good quality teaching, attendance of meetings, student academic advising, and committee membership
