We’re seeking a seasoned and analytical Internal Auditor to work closely with the Directors on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will help strengthen internal systems, identify and seal loopholes, and ensure financial and operational integrity across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent audits across all departments Rooms, Front Office, F&B/Restaurant, Housekeeping, and Stores.
- Perform regular room spot checks and operational reviews to assess compliance and service standards.
- Review financial processes, POS and OTA reconciliations, and revenue flows to detect irregularities and prevent losses.
- Evaluate controls over cash handling, discounts, refunds, and inventory management.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting risks, findings, and practical recommendations for management.
- Support the Directors in implementing corrective measures and strengthening internal controls.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in handling all company and staff information.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in internal audit, accounting, or finance within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA are an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
- High integrity, independence, and commitment to confidentiality.
