Taqwa SACCO, Kenya’s first Sharia-compliant financial institution (est. 1998), invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of ICT Officer.

Job Purpose:

Oversee and support the SACCO’s ICT systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations that enhance customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation of ICT projects.
  • Manage ICT vendors and service-level agreements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ICT-related issues.
  • Monitor and report on system performance.
  • Configure and maintain network access, applications, and data storage.
  • Ensure system security and maintain updated protection tools.
  • Implement and review disaster recovery plans.
  • Oversee ICT maintenance schedules and license renewals.
  • Plan for upgrades and expansion of ICT infrastructure.
  • Participate in ICT procurements and maintain ICT inventory.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • At least one relevant certification: CCNP Security, CEH, SSCP, CISA, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in system/database/network administration, including 1 year in cybersecurity.
  • Experience in project management and user training is an added advantage.
