About the Role
Royal Mabati Factory Limited is seeking an experienced and visionary ICT Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of the company’s ICT infrastructure and digital platforms. The successful candidate will oversee systems administration, network performance, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, user support, and digital innovation to ensure seamless operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of ICT systems, hardware, software, and infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN networks, internet links, firewalls, routers, switches, and communication systems.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across ERP, CRM, HRIS, Finance, Procurement, MES, and analytics platforms.
- Oversee customer-facing digital tools including e-commerce, mobile apps, distributor portals, and omni-channel platforms.
- Manage Operations Technology (OT) systems including plant automation, IoT sensors, SCADA, predictive maintenance tools, and shop-floor analytics.
- Oversee corporate IT systems such as cloud platforms, identity management, endpoint security, and collaboration suites.
- Ensure cybersecurity through monitoring, access governance, backups, intrusion prevention, and disaster recovery systems.
- Lead data governance, data quality, BI dashboards, and AI/ML-driven automation initiatives.
- Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies such as RPA, blockchain, digital twins, AR/VR, and sustainability tech.
- Maintain network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and vendor escalation.
- Ensure data integrity, secure system access, and proper documentation across all ICT operations.
- Manage ICT staff including IT Administrators, CCTV/Security personnel, and interns to deliver robust IT support.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and infrastructure improvements.
- Oversee ERP connectivity, database administration, and support SQL installations and configurations.
- Develop training programs, user guides, and reference materials for staff to promote technology adoption.
- Liaise with service providers to ensure minimal downtime and high-quality ICT services.
- Implement backup and recovery procedures and ensure business continuity readiness.
- Handle user account setup, rights management, troubleshooting, and support requests.
- Monitor system performance, maintain IT inventory, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Oversee CCTV systems, access control solutions, and enterprise security monitoring.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in ICT management, systems administration, or enterprise technology leadership.
- Proven experience in network design, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems implementation.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain systems, and production-related technologies.
- Strong experience with ERP/CRM platforms, HRIS, databases, and integration technologies (APIs, middleware).
- Knowledge of AI, analytics, automation, IoT, and emerging digital platforms.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead ICT teams, manage vendors, and deliver large-scale ICT projects.
- Strong communication, planning, and documentation skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to data protection and system security.
- Ability to multitask, manage strict timelines, and support fast-paced environments.
