Location: Limuru

We are seeking to hire a Human Resource officer who will support our clients in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a positive workplace culture as he/she focuses on aligning HR practices with business objectives and driving talent management strategies.

  • Provide guidance on HR-related issues, including workforce planning and change management.
  • Collaborate with senior management in implementation of business objectives through HR strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Assist in recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
  • Review HR Templates including contracts, job descriptions, policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports for the client on activities and expected outcomes.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Support organizational growth, change management initiatives and transitions.
  • Track performance management, succession planning and training needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field.
  • A Minimum of 3 years HR experience in a logistics, hospitality or manufacturing industry in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Good understanding of employment laws and regulations in Kenya.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills are desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
