Job Purpose

The Human Resource Officer (HRO) serves as the operational engine of the HR department, providing expert coordination and administration for all HR processes. This role ensures the seamless execution of the employee lifecycle, working in collaboration—enabling the HR Business Partner to focus on strategic initiatives and deepening business partnerships.

Area Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Maintain accurate workforce data through regular audits.
  • Execute end-to-end logistics for volume recruitment.
  • Provide critical-skill hiring tracking and preparing summaries for HRBP review.

Onboarding & Integration

  • Coordinate the employee journey, facilitating Day-1 orientation and probationary check-ins.
  • Performance, Learning & Development (PLD) * Support performance cycle administration by generating reports, tracking training needs, and administering L&D initiatives.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage employee records, payroll documentation, clearance processes, and updates to the HRIS.
  • Provide logistical support for employee relations cases and statutory submissions.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement * Consolidate and update HR metrics and raw data.a
  • Identify process improvement or automation initiatives.

Principal Outputs

  • Delivery of excellent consultant HR data and reporting.
  • Efficiently managed recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding workflows.
  • High-quality administrative and operational partnership.
  • A positive and consistent employee experience through seamless HR services.

Academic and Professional

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, relevant Social Science, or a related field.
  • IHRM Practicing Certificate is required.
  • Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) Level II or higher is preferred.
  • Minimum one-year coordination, people operations, or talent acquisition experience in a medium-to-large organization preferably a financial entity.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS, and payroll/statutory and labour law knowledge are added advantages.
