My name is Jerry Owich, a skilled sales professional with seven years’ experience in sales management, team leadership, client interaction, business development, customer service, relationship management, and human resource management working in insurance and assurance companies.

How long have you been looking for a job?

I began a serious job search when I realized I needed a more challenging role and career progression in my area of expertise.

What has your job search experience been like?

It was not easy as such but one thing that I learned was that having a well-written CV that sells your skills, experience and proves that you are right for the role increases your chances of landing your dream job.

Are there any specific challenges you encountered in your job search process?

Yes, sometimes I was not getting the right roles, in other cases, the employers didn’t give me feedback and with the few that I got the interviews, I didn’t get the job offers.

Well, it is important to update your CV, tailor it for the roles that you are qualified for, and prepare well for the interview to increase your chances of being considered.
