Geospatial Information Systems Consultant
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-hazard risk assessment maps and technical reports focusing on prioritizing urban water resilience and nature-based solutions strategies
- Create specialized spatial analyses and cartographic outputs for the urban crisis prevention to support regional planning initiatives
- Design and maintain the projects, tools and partners dashboard on public space and urban health, enabling monitoring of accessibility and quality indicators
- Contribute geospatial expertise to the “Integrating Urban Health in Urban and Territorial Planning” directory
- Provide technical GIS support to the Climate and Nature thematic area, including vulnerability mapping and intervention planning
Qualifications/special skills
- Academic Qualification; University degree in Geography, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Planning or Urban Studies, Spatial Planning, Urban Management and Development or related field is required.
- Work Experience; At least two (2) years of experience working in urban planning and design with knowledge in geospatial analysis, finance and economy, mapping and cartography using GIS and CAD tools is required.
