We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Manager to join our finance team and play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activities to ensure accurate posting of transactions (revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity).
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review journal entries in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and analytical reports.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
  • Manage supplier and customs payments, including import/export transactions.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and enhance reporting efficiency through SAP, Excel, and VBA tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in general ledger or financial accounting management (preferably in manufacturing).
  • At least 5 years of hands-on SAP experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (VBA knowledge is an added advantage).
  • Sound understanding of IFRS and Kenyan reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high degree of integrity and attention to detail.
