Frontend Lead
About the Role
- Own the development and maintenance of user-facing digital products and internal dashboards. This developer will work closely with the UI/UX Designer and Backend Developer to deliver intuitive, responsive, and performant interfaces that improve staff productivity and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff-facing dashboards and internal portals
- Frontend component library and style guide
- Responsive public-facing web interfaces
- Integration testing and browser compatibility reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 4+ years frontend development experience delivering production-grade applications
- 4+ years frontend development; React.js (Next.js) is non-negotiable
- 3+ years React.js (Next.js preferred) including component library development
- 2+ years TypeScript in a professional/production codebase
- TypeScript proficiency in a production environment – required
- Proven experience integrating with REST APIs and third-party platforms
- Demonstrated experience working from Figma/Adobe XD design handoffs
- Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
- Portfolio of responsive, accessible, production-deployed web applications
Nice to Have
- React/JavaScript certification (Meta, freeCodeCamp, or equivalent)
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals advantageous
- D365 portal experience advantageous
