We are looking for a Professional Front Desk Representative to undertake all customer care and related clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all clients and will be responsible for the first impression we make.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with varied client’s need and provide accurate information to both clients and relevant Biofarms Officers. A customer-oriented approach, outstanding communication skills, time management and proper planning skills are essential.
The goal is to ensure our clients and stakeholders feel comfortable and valued while on our premises or trading with our company.
Reporting The position reports directly to the Human Resource and Admin Manager, with dotted line to Managing Director.

Responsibilities
- Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary materials (pens, forms, tags etc.)
- Greet and welcome clients pleasantly to assure them of their value at Biofarms.
- Answer client’s questions professionally and satisfactory, and where possible, refer to the right office accordingly
- Deliver high-touch customer service through phone calls and one on one conversations with Biofarms’ clients, both internal and external.
- Monitor and support Biofarms online clients by actively managing our Facebook page and any other relevant online platform authorized by management.
- Exercise good oral and written communication skills in giving report/feedbacks.
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail when handling both internal and external clients.
- Customer onboarding and after PR support
- Demonstrated experience in the sanitation sector and knowledge of sanitation
- Receive letters, applications packages etc. and distribute them to the right office
- Ensure cleanliness of the reception area as well as boardroom
- Create, maintain updated asset inventory, and give regular update to the Administrator.
- Record company meeting reports / minutes,
- Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)
Skills Education, Skills, Experience
- At least diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service, Horticulture, Agriculture, Agronomy, or related discipline.
- Certificate plus two year of additional practical experience in similar position preferably in the Horticulture industry is acceptable.
- At least 1 years’ practical experience in customer care and / or hospitality sector is required.
- Excellent organizational skills, with good oral and written communication skills (English and Swahili)
- Computer and report writing skills is required.
