Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must:-

Have a bachelors degree in a field of agricultural engineering, such as soil and water, mechanization/farm power structures or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
A masters degree in any of the relevant fields is an added advantage
Be registered by the engineer’s registration board of Kenya and
Have demonstrated administrative ability, professional and technical competence in the field of agricultural engineering.
