About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced intelligence analyst to join an embedded intelligence and security operations team for a professional services client based in Nairobi, Kenya. As the regional analyst, you will deliver a suite of intelligence products used to inform the client’s business decision makers.
- In addition, you will engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to interpret their requirements, provide support and consulting, and leverage Sibylline’s own suite of intelligence analytical reporting. You will work within a team of embedded regional analysts and embedded Global Security Operations Centre analysts who provide a 24/7 global monitoring service to the client.
- You will be focusing on geopolitical and security issues in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), with a focus on the larger markets of Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa. You will also be asked to apply an analytical skillset to other regions across the globe and to cover for other regional analysts in the team.
- This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm and requiring to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the client’s Nairobi office, with the potential to be more depending on client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor open-source intelligence to assess geopolitical events around the world that could impact the client’s global workforce and business operations
- Design and deliver, and refine a range of intelligence products delivering proactive and in-depth analysis, and actionable insight to internal stakeholders, including periodic reports and bespoke products
- Brief executives as needed on key developments, trends and content.
- Refine intelligence requirements by networking and supporting the growth of the intelligence function within the client company
- Display innovation, implementing the latest techniques, tools and best practices to support a global intelligence function
- Be an effective member of a small team, focused on the delivery of lean, high-impact services
- Engage with local security, operations and other client teams to collect on-the-ground truth and analyse and disseminate pertinent information to relevant stakeholders
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Any other reasonable tasks requested by Client or any other Client Entity
