Job Description

Countries: Canada, Kenya, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Organization: World Vision
Closing date: 22 Nov 2025

With 75 years of experience, our focus is on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith.

Come join our 33,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries and share the joy of transforming vulnerable children’s life stories!

Here’s where you come in:

As the Disaster Management Coordinator, you will help streamline daily operations, share important updates, and create resources that keep colleagues connected and informed. You will build relationships across diverse, multicultural teams, facilitate the flow of information, and help others access the tools and knowledge they need to make a real difference. Your contributions will ensure the Global Lead’s meetings and engagements are thoroughly prepared, with professional materials that support clear communication and informed decision-making. If you have the ability to work on the fly—drafting, editing, and assembling briefing materials—you will thrive in this dynamic environment.

By crafting and sharing high-quality content, you will increase the visibility and understanding of Disaster Management initiatives, deliver timely and targeted outreach, and create visually appealing digital experiences that support our organizational goals.

Requirements include:

  • Undergraduate level degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Organizational Development, International Development, or related field.
  • Demonstrated training or experience in administration support, project coordination, or humanitarian operations is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project coordination, digital content roles, or similar positions, ideally in international or humanitarian settings.
  • Proven ability to manage internal engagement initiatives and produce high-quality digital content.
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
  • Proficiency in French, Portuguese or Spanish is highly desirable, given the multicultural nature of the work and frequent engagement with field offices and partners in francophone and lusophone regions.
