  • Created marketing content that got results – videos, graphics, posts that people actually engaged with
  • Used data to make decisions – you check metrics, spot trends, and adjust based on what’s working
  • Managed multiple projects without someone telling you what to do every day

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads (or demonstrable portfolio showing campaign results)
  • Content creation skills using Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic video shooting and editing (smartphone level is fine, we’re not looking for Hollywood)
  • Strong copywriting – you understand tone, audience, and how to write for conversions
  • Comfortable with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Portfolio is mandatory – we want to see what you’ve actually created and the results you drove

Your Personality:

  • Self-motivated – you don’t need someone pushing you daily
  • Resourceful – you Google solutions, learn from YouTube, figure things out
  • Data-curious – you actually look at the numbers and make decisions from them
  • Mission-aligned – you care about improving education in Africa, not just collecting a paycheck

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in SaaS, B2B, or education sectors
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles
  • Experience managing brand communities on social platforms
  • Any Google/Meta/HubSpot certifications

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Month 1: Audit current marketing efforts, launch 2 test campaigns on Meta/Google, establish baseline metrics, create content calendar
  • Month 3: Successfully managing ad spend with positive ROI, producing 3-4 pieces of content weekly, hitting demo booking targets
  • Month 6: Established consistent campaign optimization rhythm, improved organic search visibility for 3-5 key terms, built a content library
  • Month 12: Full ownership of digital narrative, measurably contributing to sales pipeline, become the go-to marketing brain for the company
