Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Providing leadership in digital communication planning and strategy implementation;
- Overseeing development and maintenance of county websites and digital portals;
- Ensuring integration of communication systems with e-government platforms;
- Developing guidelines for digital branding, social media policy, and content governance;
- Coordinating digital crisis communication and reputation management; and
- Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Served for at least three (3) years as Senior Digital Communication Officer (Job Group N) or equivalent;
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, ICT, or related field;
- Master’s degree in Communication, Digital Media, or Strategic Communication is an added advantage; and
- Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
