Our client is an international construction and engineering company with a strong presence in Kenya and across East Africa. They are seeking is seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building and infrastructure projects. The role requires hands-on project management skills, technical precision, and familiarity with Kenyan and international construction standards.

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction activities to ensure timely project completion.
  • Analyse survey reports, maps, blueprints, and other data to plan project execution.
  • Conduct on-site investigations and monitor project progress and compliance.
  • Estimate quantities and cost of materials, labour, and equipment for feasibility and tendering.
  • Support preparation of tender documents, reports, and technical drawings.
  • Supervise weighing, sampling, and testing of materials for quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare progress and performance reports for management and clients.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and logistics for site operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant degree
  • Professional certifications and registrations (e.g., EBK, KETRB, NCA, IEK) are required
  • 7-10 years of proven experience as a construction engineer.
