Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kenya was established in 2002 as a professional organization for Internal Auditors in Kenya with over 3000 members. IIA Kenya is an affiliate of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors.
Business Development Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth in specialized trainings and consultancy services.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and implement business development strategies.
- Secure sponsorships and long-term collaborations.
- Manage and strengthen client, member, and partner relationships.
- Conduct market research to propose viable ventures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in membership organizations or similar roles.
- Excellent negotiation, cross-selling, client engagement and relationship- building skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Membership of a related professional body.
