Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kenya was established in 2002 as a professional organization for Internal Auditors in Kenya with over 3000 members. IIA Kenya is an affiliate of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors.

Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth in specialized trainings and consultancy services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Secure sponsorships and long-term collaborations.
  • Manage and strengthen client, member, and partner relationships.
  • Conduct market research to propose viable ventures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in membership organizations or similar roles.
  • Excellent negotiation, cross-selling, client engagement and relationship- building skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Membership of a related professional body.
