Gatundu Water & Sanitation Company Ltd is a Water Service Provider wholly owned by the County Government of Kiambu mandated with providing water and sanitation services in Gatundu South, Gatundu North, parts of Githunguri and Juja sub counties within Kiambu County.
The Board of Directors of the Company comprises of stakeholders identified as per the memorandum and articles of association in line with the regulator’s guidelines.
The Company has one (1) vacancy to be filled by any of the stakeholder categories listed below, operating within the Company’s service area in the Gatundu North region, to ensure equitable representation:
- Resident Associations
- Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
- People living with Disability (PWDs)
- Manufacturing Groups
Qualifications
Applications are invited from the nominees of the above-mentioned stakeholders’ who must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an institution recognized in Kenya.
- Demonstrate experience and acumen in a business or any profession or trade for at least 5 years.
- Demonstrate participation in local development initiatives.
- This position is strictly reserved for female candidates, and only qualified women are eligible to apply.
- Be in good standing with the nominating organization; and
- Be a resident within the Company’s service area.

How to Apply
All applications must be accompanied by;
- Copies of their detailed curriculum vitae with names, address and telephone contacts of three referees. Academic and professional certificates, testimonials, national identity card or passport and any other supporting documents.
- A letter of nomination from the above-named organization or relevant body from the area of jurisdiction.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to fulfil the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution by submitting clearances from the following institutions.
- Kenya Revenue Authority
- Ethics & anti- Corruption Commission
- Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Certificate of Good Conduct)
- Higher Education Loans Board
- Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
