About the Role:
The Assistant HR Manager will oversee the day-to-day HR operations and act as the HR Lead for the organization, reporting directly to the CEO. The role provides both strategic and operational support across recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, compliance, and HR policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations and administration
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff welfare initiatives
- Support performance management and employee development
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented and compliant
- Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters
- Manage payroll inputs and maintain accurate HR records
- Drive culture-building and engagement programs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Membership in IHRM (Kenya) required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR within an industrial/manufacturing setup
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or management position
- _Candidates with experience working in labour-intensive environments are required.
- Excellent knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
