Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Support the month-end close process for both cash- and accrual-basis clients (QuickBooks Online).
  • Maintain schedules (Google Sheets) to support account balances.
  • Post general and adjusting journal entries.
  • Create draft reporting packets in Fathom.
  • Assist with client onboarding (migrating to new chart of accounts, setting up month-end schedules in project management software, etc.).

  • Flexibility — we’re a new business, and processes may evolve.
  • Diligence and efficiency — able to manage multiple clients in one day.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience with accrual accounting.
  • Preferably experience in USGAAP-compliant environments (annual audits, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Drive.
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (certification is a plus!).
  • Preferable experience with Bill.com.
