Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion: Identify, pursue, and convert new institutional clients (hospitals, NGOs, donor projects, and clinics) into active business partners.
Tender Leadership: Track, pre-qualify, and coordinate bids; develop proposals and pricing strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
Partnership Building: Establish long-term relationships with donor agencies, ministries, and supplier representatives.
Brand Visibility: Represent King’s at conferences, exhibitions, and professional forums; strengthen our visibility and reputation post-transition.
Market Intelligence: Provide monthly updates on competitor activity, pricing trends, and new funding opportunities.
Internal Coordination: Work with the Sales & Admin Manager for smooth handovers of won tenders and the Biomedical Engineer for technical support during demos or installations.

What We’re Looking For

Professional Background

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in business development or institutional sales within healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
Strong network in hospital procurement or NGO eye-care programs is highly desirable.
Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales and partnership targets.

Core Competencies

Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker who can turn insights into actionable business plans.
High personal integrity, professionalism, and emotional maturity.
Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
Additional training in sales strategy, account management, or tendering processes will be an advantage.
