Our client, a fast-growing cereals distribution company, is seeking to recruit a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to spearhead market expansion and strengthen the company’s presence in the wholesale cereals segment.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a solid background in B2B cereals sales, distribution, or FMCG trade, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, onboard, and manage bulk buyers of cereals, including supermarkets, wholesalers, food distributors, and packaging brands.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients to enhance repeat orders and brand loyalty.
- Drive sales and market penetration of the company’s in-house brand, Zera Oasis.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to existing clients to maximize business potential.
- Provide periodic market insights, competitor trends, and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.
- Achieve set sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience in wholesale cereals or FMCG sales.
- Excellent understanding of Kenya’s cereals distribution network.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-driven, ambitious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driving license or reliable mobility will be an added advantage.
Compensation Package
- Gross Salary: Ksh. 60,000 per month.
- Transport Allowance: Ksh. 4,000 per week (paid in advance).
