Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Montessori Teacher at Princeton Preparatory School, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Montessori Teacher will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction, fostering a collaborative classroom environment, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a prepared learning environment, monitoring student progress, and supporting the school’s mission to nurture a sense of peace, community, and global engagement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education methods
- Strong skills in Teaching and Training children within a Montessori or similar educational framework
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification or training in Montessori education is highly desirable
- Previous experience working with children within the 18-month to 5th-grade age range
- Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred
