Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya, for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will oversee the company’s financial activities, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and prepare accurate financial statements and reports. The role includes financial planning, analysis of budgets and expenses, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all accounting processes. The Financial Controller will collaborate closely with department heads to align financial strategies with the company’s goals.
Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and general Accounting practices.
- Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Finance-related operations to guide decision-making and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in financial compliance and regulatory practices, with an emphasis on accuracy and accountability.
- Experience with financial software and systems is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or ACCA certification is a significant advantage).
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in the real estate or property development industry is a plus.
